Mung Beans

Until 50 years ago, mung beans, known as “cin black beans” in Turkey and especially made into soup, were grown in the villages of Gaziantep and Toros Mountains. Nowadays, as its popularity increases, the production of this bean, which is compatible with the Mediterranean climate, has gradually increased. The main growers of mung beans in the world are China and India.
